We support eligible injured workers with nursing care during recovery, working with treating clinicians and relevant insurers. Services are subject to clinical needs and claim approval.
Support may include
- Community nursing assessments
- Wound and post-operative care
- Medication-related nursing support
- Personal care during recovery
- Practical home support
- Hospital-to-home transition support
Before service starts
We will confirm the referral, claim or insurer details, the services requested and whether approval is required. The worker’s insurer determines whether treatment and support costs are payable under the claim.
Funding note:
Services must be relevant to the work-related injury or condition and meet the insurer’s requirements. We will not promise coverage until eligibility or approval is confirmed.
